The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf

This morning, I, along with a couple of my fellow Bring Change to Mind TAB members, woke up bright and early at 4 am to fly to LA for a summit! Of course, we were all pretty drowsy having woken up so early, but to try to make up for it, we got some pick me up drinks from Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf. I ordered a hot vanilla because it was very intriguing (I had only ever had a hot chocolate). It wasn’t really for me, but it wasn’t bad quality or anything. I just didn’t particularly enjoy the taste. I still drank it though because it was hot and I’m not too big on wasting things or food. Also, after conferring with the others, we decided that the drinks were all a bit too thick. The drink somehow felt really heavy in my mouth, which I didn’t enjoy. However, I am sure that the other drinks and pastries on the menu aren’t bad. Overall, this spot is a convenient place to grab a quick drink or snack. It just doesn’t really live up to Starbucks standards.
