Teaspoon

First of all, @poojab_123, I hope you have a safe and speedy recovery! Now, you would think that after all this time I would have already reviewed Teaspoon. Alas, it is only today that I have finally decided to put forth my opinions. Teaspoon is what some would call a “basic” destination for Los Altos and Palo Alto students alike. However, before all of that, it was a modest store that had just begun it’s journey. My family and I entered the Los Altos location on the second day it opened not knowing what to expect. We were pretty satisfied. Teaspoon offered pretty good quality tea with fresh toppings and real tea leaves. The price was pretty average and we thought it could be a good spot for a quick boba run if we needed it. Things soon changed. Teaspoon suddenly blew up, and it became a crowded, overpriced, and basic spot. The cups shrank and the price grew. The quality stayed the same throughout it all, but it simply wasn’t worth it anymore. Of course, we still go out of habit and convenience, but it definitely is not a top boba spot anymore. $5 for one cup is ridiculous. Overall, Teaspoon has definitely gone through quite the journey from when it first opened, but it seems to be still quite a successful place, so it has to be doing something right!
