Happy Taco Tuesday! Today, after the Paly game, I headed down to Casa Lupe in Mountain View. This is a place @maia.f has been recommending to me for a long time now, and today, I finally went. It seemed like a pretty authentic spot for Mexican food, so I was excited. I got the chicken tacos, enchilada with red sauce, and cheese quesadilla. I had very high expectations from Maia’s experiences, but the tacos were not great. The chicken tacos were super dry, even when paired with the salsa. The tortillas were hard and it all tasted quite bland in my mouth. It was really missing some lime. Next, the enchiladas were a bit better, but still over salty. The seasoning flavors were very powerful though. Lastly, the cheese quesadillas were decent. There was nothing particularly special about them. The chips were also really hard. Overall, I didn’t have a very good experience, but many people think otherwise, so I would still say go for it.
