Speedy's Tacos

Happy Taco Tuesday! After a basketball game, I headed to Speedy’s Tacos. I was expecting a typical taqueria like atmosphere, but instead, it was a much more like a small restaurant or cafe, which was nice. The paintings with vibrant colors made the atmosphere much more lively. As for the food itself, it wasn’t bad. The cheese quesadilla was one of the best my mom has ever had. The cheese to tortilla ratio is just right, and the layers give you a satisfying bite. The tacos were pretty big, but not amazing. The flavors were strong, but they were overpowered by the saltiness of the meat. The chicken tasted like it had cumin on it, which is an interesting choice for tacos, the pulled pork was average, the al pastor was kind of funky tasting but not horrible, and lastly, the carne asada was the best of the four. Overall, the food is good quality, but the tastes were not what you would expect from a taco. If you come though, definitely try the cheese quesadilla. Also, we got a coke, and it was quite satisfying. Very unhealthy, but very fizzy and cold! Atmosphere: 4 Service: 3 (kind of slow, but nice) Taste: 3 Price: 3 ($3 per taco, but they were big) Uniqueness: 3 Presentation: 3 Overall, 19/30 or 63.33% #speedystacos #tacotuesday #tacos#carneasada #alpastor #pulledpork #pollo#quesadilla #cocacola #ambersfoodreviews
