Yumi Yogurt Santa Clara

After our unexpected ramen stop on Saturday night, we grabbed some dessert at Yumi Yogurt. Now, I was kind of on the fence about Yumi Yogurt because of the funny name, but it was actually a pleasant surprise! The original tart flavor (offered only on Saturdays) was not too sweet at all, which was nice. The pumpkin flavor, on the other hand, was a bit sweet, but much creamier and smoother, so it was great as well. The aesthetic of this place seems to be going for an old-timey diner feel, with the fluorescent neon signs, the tiled floor, and chalkboard menu. However, it doesn’t quite complete the aesthetic. For starters, the tables and chairs aren’t exactly fitting, and also the counters plus some other features mess it up a bit. Nevertheless, it is still a pretty cool place, and I will definitely come back when I’m in the mood for some fro-yo. That is, if I’m nowhere near fraiche, which I would prefer. Atmosphere: 3.5 Service: 2.5 (the ladies did not seem super enthusiastic or friendly, but instead, bored out of their minds) Taste: 4 Price: 3 Uniqueness: 3 Presentation: 3 (can’t really go wrong with a swirl can you?) Overall, 19/30 or 63.33% #yumiyogurt #froyo #tart
