Antojitos Estilo de Jaylah’s

Happy Taco Tuesday!! Unfortunately, this place doesn’t have a location on instagram. It is called Jaylah’s Mexican Food Truck on google maps or Antojitos Estilo de Jaylah’s. It’s located on the corner of old Middlefield and Sierra Vista. It’s hard not to notice since it’s a bright red truck! Anyway, the food here has really high ratings on google and yelp, so I had high expectations coming in. The server was super nice and he took the money after giving me the food, which is weird for food trucks, but not in any way bad. The food smelled nice and looked pretty good, but it wasn’t exactly outstanding. Part of it was probably because I bought these, went to the volleyball game, and then ate the tacos. By the time I got home, the tortillas were dry and a bit stale since he seemed to have fried it. The meats were decent, but the one with the salsa verde wasn’t great. The best was the carne asada, but again, by the time I ate it, it was pretty dry. The quesadillas were pretty good though. I am kind of torn on if this place should get a positive or negative review because it didn’t taste good to me, but everybody seems to love it, and I ate it when it wasn’t warm. Anyway, I’ll probably come back again just to give this place a more conclusive review.
