Nekter Juice Bar

Today, Ethan and I had planned to go to the sweet shop, but upon arriving there, we realized it was closed. We decided to go to Nekter instead. The first time we came here was the first week it opened. I didn't even know what acaí bowls were, so I had gotten a smoothie. Then, the following week, I went back and tried it. I loved it! I thought acaí bowls were the coolest thing ever, and obviously, others did too. Many stores in the Bay Area have popped up, including Bare bowls, various vitality bowls, and other miscellaneous ones here and there. Today, I tried to mango bowl and I think I do prefer this one over the classic banana berry! The tropical taste of the mango was super refreshing after a bike ride under the sun. On a more general note, I've always really enjoyed the freshness of these bowls, and I feel less guilty after eating them! These are definitely one of my favorite desserts/ breakfast items, and I guess I have a sort of loyalty to Nekter since they made the first one I tried. All in all, the vibrant, aesthetically pleasing look and the undeniably fresh and cool taste of blended fruits make for the perfect dessert.
