Nexus Cafe

Today, I tried the tacos at the Nexus cafe at Stanford's med campus. I wasn't expecting much, but they were actually decent. The pork and beef were both super juicy, but also very oily. On the other hand, the chicken was kind of dry, but not as oily. For the toppings I only got the pico de gallo, but it didn't even have tomatoes! The pico de gallo and meat together paired pretty well though, so it was decent. The meal comes with rice and beans, but I didn't get the beans. I tried their salsa and guacamole, and the salsa was below average, and the guac was weird. It looked and tasted like it was blended, not mashed. It was also spicy, so I didn't like it that much. Overall, I rate this a 6/10. #tacothursday
