Tea Era

Although I find Tea Era as a more average boba place (I've been here a good number of times in the past), this drink I ordered was surprisingly satisfying. I got the Iron Buddha Milk Tea with taro balls 1/4 sugar and 1/4 ice. Something unique that this place does is shake the tea with the ice so that everything is ice cold and blended well, so when you order less ice, your drink is still ice cold and you get more of the drink! At most places, when you order less ice, your tea is room temperature, and that's just gross. Anyway, so the iron Buddha tea is a special type of oolong tea, and it was quite earthy but also creamy because of the milk. The taro balls were not as bouncy as normal boba balls, but they were still kind of chewy, and they really did taste like they were made of real taro, so that's a plus. Overall, I enjoy this drink a lot (perfect for a hot sunny day!), and I rate it a 7/10
